Meals for people 60 or older are served at the Community Center five times a week. Reservations must be made 48 hours ahead by calling 743-8333 weekdays from 9 to 1. A donation of $1.75 is requested.
Van transportation is available daily for medical and social appointments, also with 48 hours' notice. The COA office is open from 8 to 4. Taxi and cabulance tickets are sold Monday through Wednesday from 9 to 3.
Becket
Congregate meals are served Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11:30 a.m. in the Senior Citizens Room at Town Hall. For reservations, call Anna Chagnon at 623-2397.

Cheshire
Nutritious meals by Elder Services of Berkshire County for people 60 and older are served Wednesdays at 11:45 at the Community Center on School Street. A $1.75 donation is requested, and reservations should be made two days in advance by calling Phyllis Sanderson at 743-9719, or Elder Services at 499-0524. A blood pressure clinic is held the fourth Wednesday of the month for all residents.
The COA van is available from 9 to 3 on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. A $1 donation is requested. Call 743-1690. Van mobile phone: 446-2559.

Cummington
Luncheons are held every Tuesday at 12:30 at the Community House on Main Street. The meals are provided by Highland Valley Elder Services. Those wishing to attend should make reservations by Monday at 9 a.m. For more information or to make a reservation, call 634-2262.
Dalton
Nutritious meals for people 60 years and older are served at the Community House on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Reservations must be made by calling 684-2000 by noon the day before. A $1.75 donation is requested.
COA drop-in hours are Monday through Friday from 8 to 4. BRTA and SERVE reservations may be purchased during regular office hours.
The COA van is available for all Dalton elderly and handicapped residents from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance by calling the COA at 684-2000.

Transportation to lunch, medical appointments and other destinations is available Monday through Friday. Thursday afternoons the senior van provides transportation for shopping at the Lenox Plaza from 1 to 3. Call the COA 637-5535, in advance, for reservations. Discounted BRTA taxi tickets are sold during office hours.
Blood pressure clinics are scheduled the second Wednesday morning and the third Tuesday afternoon of each month. Call 637-5535 for appointment. Foot clinics are held every other month on the second Thursday. For information and appointments for both, call 637-5535.

The COA operates two wheelchair-accessible vans, Monday through Friday, 8:30 to 4, for individuals 60 and older or disabled.
The van is available for medical appointments, social/recreation, education, nutrition and shopping; Wednesday morning grocery-shopping program provides door-to-door services and transports to all three supermarkets in North Adams; $1 per one-way trip in North Adams, $1.50 per one-way trip to Williamstown or Adams. Jewish Federation of the Berkshires, 235 East St., offers a Senior Adult Lunch Program in conjunction with Elder Services of Berkshire County. Kosher hot meals are served every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday at noon. Open to members of the general public. A nominal donation is suggested.
Reservations are required to attend meals and programs, as space is limited. Call before to 10 a.m. For information: Cindy Bell-Deane, director of food services, 442-4360. The following kosher meals and activities will be available this week:
